Straight Line Construction of Gainesville is Hiring a Construction Manager Near Ocala, FL

We're looking to hire a Construction Manager to help us manage our building projects. The successful candidate will be able to prioritize tasks and have attention to detail. and not be able to recognize current and potential problems. This position is open to both experienced professionals who are self motivated , hard workers, have the ability to work well with others, and a strong work ethic.

If you are organized, able to work well under pressure and have experience in this field, we’d like to meet you.

Job Duties may include:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day activities on the construction site
  • Managing/Reviewing schedules, and assist with resource allocation
  • Meet performance goals and deadlines
  • Monitoring and enforcing safety protocols
  • Relay scope of the work of subcontractors and other workers
  • Resolving problems and disputes that arise during the project
  • Ensuring that all construction activities are performed following local building codes and regulations
  • Collaborating with the project manager and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met

Skills Needed

  • Previous experience as a construction superintendent, cosntruction manager, hands one worker or similar
  • Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
  • Understanding of construction operations and processes
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to lead and inspire

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
